Open house held at the new site of the Men's Monastery in Seifriedsberg

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the new site of the men's monastery dedicated to St Job, Abbot and Wonder-worker of Pochaev, in Seifriedsberg, Germany, held an open house for the second time. This year, too, the new monastery attracted many visitors from all over Germany.

Many guests took the opportunity not only to tour the historic castle and learn about the progress of construction and the development of the project, but also to feel the calm, blessed atmosphere of the new monastery.

The Friends of the Monastery group also organized a food stand this year, where guests could try borshch, spit-roasted fish, and other tasty treats for a donation. Drinks offered by the voluntary fire brigade of Mattershofen complemented this feast.
