The last meeting of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia of this year opens at the Synodal Residence of the First Hierarch

On Tuesday, 9 December, 2025, on the feast day of St Innocent, Bishop of Irkutsk, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and the members of the Synod of Bishops prayed at Divine Liturgy at St Sergius Church in the Synodal Residence of the First Hierarch in New York.

After the service, proceeding to the meeting hall, Metropolitan Nicholas opened the meeting with a greeting and a brief report on his visits, services, and plans.

After approving the agenda, which was previously distributed by His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle, the hierarchs began their work.
