The Parish of Blessed Xenia of St Petersburg in Canada returns to the Russian Church Abroad

As reported on the official website of the Canadian Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, the parish dedicated to Blessed Xenia of St Petersburg returned, by the mercy of God, to the bosom of the Russian Church Abroad. Founded in the nation's capital of Ottawa in August 1989, the cornerstone of the church was blessed in the summer of 1996, and by February, 1997, a quarter century ago, the first divine service was celebrated there.

A discussion with Protodeacon Andrei Psarev, professor of Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY, and ROCOR historian, with Archpriest Oleg Mironov, Rector of St. Xenia Church, is available here: https://www.rocorstudies.org/2022/08/04/paths-of-the-russian-church-in-the-catacombs-and-the-diaspora-as-seen-through-the-life-of-an-contemporary/.
