NEW YORK: January 7, 2022
The Primate of the Russian Church Abroad sends Nativity greetings to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia

No 01/01/22

To His Holiness
Patriarch KIRILL
of Moscow and All Russia

Your Holiness:

It is with the most profound love in Christ that I offer my heartfelt greetings to Your Holiness on this joyous and world-saving celebration of the arrival into the world of the Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Illuminated on these holy days by the grace-filled rays of the light of Christ, we especially fervently pray to the Living God, Who became Living Man, that He grant to you and all of the beloved and friends of the newly-reposed Archpriest Nikolai, your elder brother, who is now commemorated by us all, His consolation, and to our entire Russian Church—peaceful existence, many mercies and abundant blessings from above!

Beseeching your holy prayers, I remain in the ineffable love in the Lord,

Metropolitan HILARION
of Eastern America and New York
First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia
