CHICAGO: February 10, 2015
The Namesday of His Grace Bishop Peter is Celebrated at Chicago’s Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral

On Sunday, February 8, 2015, the Sunday of the Wayward Son and the feast day of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America, celebrated Divine Liturgy at Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral in Chicago, IL, along with his diocesan clergy.

After the service, the Senior Priest of the cathedral, Protopriest Andre Papkov, Dean of the Central Deanery of the diocese, congratulated His Grace on his namesday, wishing him strength and God’s help in carrying out his archpastoral service. The service was followed by a brotherly trapeza luncheon organized by the cathedral sisterhood in Vladyka Peter’s honor.
