ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA: January 2, 2013
On the Feast Day of St Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow, a Veneration Cross Will Be Unveiled to Celebrate the Reestablishment of Unity Within the Russian Orthodox Church

A veneration cross will be unveiled on Thursday, January 3, 2013, in memory of the reestablishment of the fullness of brotherly communion between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, at St Alexander Nevsky Lavra in St Petersburg, Russia. After Divine Liturgy, a procession of the cross headed by His Grace Bishop Nazary of Vyborg will depart from Holy Trinity Cathedral along the Monastyrka River to the Metropolitan's Garden, where a cross will be consecrated in the presence of representatives of the Russian Church Abroad and municipal authorities.

The delegation of ROCOR will be led by His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany.
