I hasten to express to you my sympathies for your present sorrow. We pray before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God that the Lord, through the prayers of the Most-Blessed Virgin, quickly raises Your Holiness from the sickbed and returns you to service in church and at your First-Hierarchal post. We have also made arrangements that Your Holiness' name be commemorated at the crypt containing the relics of St John (Maximovich), which lie uncorrupted at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco.
