The Holy Synod postpones the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church until May 2022
On December 29, 2020, the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decreed that the next Council of Bishops of the ROC would be held in November, 2021.
On October 15, 2021, the Holy Synod, deliberating on the matter remotely, decided that due to the epidemic, the Council of Bishops would be postponed until May 26-29, 2022.
