Celebration of Pentecost at Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral in the Mid-American Diocese

On Sunday, June 20, 2021, the feast of the Holy Pentecost, the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, His Eminence Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid-America celebrated Divine Liturgy at Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral in Chicago, IL. It was followed by great vespers with the Kneeling Prayers. All-night vigil was celebrated the evening before. His Eminence was joined by the cathedral clergymen, the services were attended by a large multitude of worshipers. A photo-report is posted on the diocesan website:
