Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan performs a moleben before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God at the Synodal Cathedral to mark the launch of the online 13th International Conference "Concord of Orthodox Youth"

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady "of the Sign" at the residence of the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia in New York hosted a moleben before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign.” Vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, Deputy Secretary of the Synod of Bishops, led the ceremony, along with the cathedral’s Dean, Protopriest Andrei Sommer, Vice President of the Synodal Youth Department, and Protopriest Serafim Gan, Chancellor of the Synod of Bishops.

Due to the epidemic, the moleben was performed with limitations; clergymen, organizers and participants of the 13th International Conference "Concord of Orthodox Youth" participated, whom Vladyka Nicholas addressed with a welcoming word, and for whom the moleben was served.

The conference is being held “virtually,” and includes clergymen and Orthodox youth in various cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, USA, Canada, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Western Europe and Asia.
