SEATTLE, WA: July 8, 2019
Feast-day celebrations at the residence of St John (Maximovich), where he reposed (photo-report)

On the feast day of St John (Maximovich) the Miracle-worker, 29 June, 2019, the 25th anniversary of his canonization, festive divine services were performed at the residence at St Nicholas Cathedral in Seattle, WA, where he reposed in the Lord, holding the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign" in his hands.

Divine services were performed by Priest Daniel Millwood and Protodeacon Paul Bilibin. Along with the photo-report is an image of his flock bidding farewell to his body, which was vested in archpastoral garments, at St Nicholas Cathedral, whence it was sent to the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco, CA, on July 3, 1966.
