On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, a regular session of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia was held, chaired by His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of ROCOR. The Synod then began its work, discussing the forthcoming great consecration of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God in London, England, which will host the next regular meeting of the Synod. At the same time, September 21, a monument to the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Royal Passion-Bearers on the cathedral grounds will be unveiled.
