Photo-Report on Divine Services Led by Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan at St John the Baptist Cathedral in the Nation’s Capital

On Sunday, March 26, 2017, the 4th Sunday of Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, Deputy Secretary of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at St John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC.

Later on Sunday, Vladyka Nicholas performed the Rite of Holy Unction, in the presence of the myrrh-streaming Icon of the Mother of God “Softener of Hardened Hearts,” brought from Russia to the Eastern American Diocese.
