On Wednesday, March 22, 2017, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, participated in the solemn consecration of the renovated Holy Epicule (kuvuklia) of the Lord in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher of the Lord in Jerusalem.

It is in the care of the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, as well as Armenian and Roman Catholic clerics, who all agreed on its first renovation in history. Specialists from the National Technical Institute in Athens performed the work.
