On Sunday, June 9, 2016, Pentecost Sunday, His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan celebrated Divine Liturgy and vespers with the kneeling prayers at Holy Trinity Cathedral at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. The evening before, he performed all-night vigil along with Archimandrite Luke (Murianka), abbot of the monastery, and monastery and visiting clergymen, to a large gathering of worshipers.

The next day, the day of the Holy Spirit, when the monastery celebrates its feast day, Divine Liturgy was headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.
