A CD of the Akathist to St John of Shanghai and San Francisco Will be Released on the Saint's Feast Day

“Russkiy Pastyr” Publishers in San Francisco and the “Krasnoye Solnishko” Studio (Moscow) have released a recording (in Church Slavonic) of the Akathist to St John, the Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco. The akathist was recorded at the main cathedral of Moscow’s Donskoi Monastery with the participation of Archpriest Peter Perekrestov, Dean of Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco, Deacon Alexei Zaitseff of St Nicholas Church in Moscow and the Festal Male Choir of the St Antipas Church under the direction of Alexei Pokrovsky.
