A Serbian-Russian Picnic is Held to Benefit Serbs in Kosovo and Metochia

Sydney, Australia, hosted a benefit picnic for needy Serbs in Kosovo and Metochia. This "Serbian-Russian picnic" was held on November 29, 2011, at St Nicholas Church of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Blacktown (Sydney). It included performances by Russian and Serbian folk troupes. Collected funds will be sent to Kosovo and Metochia through the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The event was held with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and His Grace Bisho Irinej of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
