Metropolitan Hilarion Celebrates the Triumph of Orthodoxy (Photo-Report)

Highslide JS On March 13, 2011, the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, Archbishop of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand and First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at Sydney, Australia’s SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, along with its clergymen. During Liturgy, His Eminence ordained Deacon Adrian August to the priesthood. Fr Adrian is appointed to Archangel Michael Church in Blacktown. After the service, Metropolitan Hilarion led the Rite of Orthodoxy. The anathemas, Eternal Memory for the defenders of the Faith of Christ and Many Years were intoned by Protodeacon Alexander Kotliaroff.
