The aim of the trip is to come to know and communicate with Orthodox youth organizations of Moscow—the Marontsy, Sretenie and Pokrov, to discuss practical and crucial issues and to exchange experiences in youth ministry.
The program will include participation in the opening ceremonies and plenary meetings of the 14th World Russian National Council chaired by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia in the Council Hall of Christ the Savior Cathedral.
The participants will also: make excursions to the monasteries and parishes of Moscow; make a pilgrimage to St Sergius-Holy Trinity Lavra on the feast day of the Pentecost; meet with students; celebrate the feast day of SS Cyril and Methodius and the namesday of the Patriarch, and attend the Patriarchal service in the Kremlin and a procession of the cross from there to the Church of St Basil the Blessed.
All expenses in Moscow, including room, board and transportation, will be covered by our hosts in Moscow.
Participants are responsible for their own airfare and must make their own visa arrangements.
