NEW YORK: November 15, 2010
Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York Departs for Paris

On the evening of Sunday, November 14, 2010, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, departed for Paris to participate in divine services and events marking the 90th anniversary of the exodus of the Russian People from Crimea in 1920. His Eminence was invited by Alexander Konstantinovich Orlov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to France. His Eminence will also meet with bishops who serve in Western Europe, as well as clergymen, state and civil figures.
