The Victims of the 1917 Revolution Are Commemorated at Buenos Aires Cathedral

On Saturday, November 7, 2009, the 92nd anniversary of the October Revolution, His Grace Bishop John of Caracas and South America served a pannikhida to commemorate those who were tortured and executed and who died in concentration camps at the hands of the godless regime. At the Cathedral, the worshipers in attendance were able to calmly and prayerfully remember the victims of the Red Terror and the atheistic persecutions of the 20th century, and to reflect on the grace-filled days of peace which are given us in this new millennium.
