The Celebration of the Epiphany of the Lord at St Nicholas Church

On January 19, 2008, the Epiphany of the Lord, the city of Red Bank, NJ, commenced its centennial celebrations with a procession of the cross and great blessing of the waters at Navesink River. On January 23, the feast day of St Theophan, Bishop of Tambov and Shatsky, the Recluse of Vyshensk, His Grace Bishop Melety, Vicar of Chernovitsk and Bukovino, visited St Nicholas Church, where he prayed during Divine Liturgy, after which he read a sermon to the parishioners.
