A Clergy-Youth Meeting of the Fourth Deanery of Eastern America and New York is Held At the Church of St Xenia the Blessed

From September 16-17, 2007, a meeting of the clergy and youth of the Fourth Deanery of the Diocese of Eastern America and New York was held, dedicated to the 1600 th anniversary of the repose of St John Chrysostom. Speaking at the event were Priest Victor Boldewskul, Rector of Epiphany Church in Boston, MA, and Protopriest Michael Crowley, Rector of the hosting St Xenia Parish in Methuen, MA. This good work, organized by the local clergy, drew more than 50 young parishioners, and concluded with divine services celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus. During the trapeza, Protopriest Andrei Sommer of the Synodal Youth Department, gave Fr Michael, who was awarded the gold pectoral cross on that day, a copy of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God.
