His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus Officiates at Divine Liturgy and Heads the St Herman's Youth Conference

On December 24-25, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus headed the annual St Herman's Youth Conference held at the Church of the Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in Philadelphia, PA. This conference, as usual, was scheduled to coincide with the feast day of St Herman of Alaska the Wonder-worker. In accordance with a decision of the Synod of Bishops, His Eminence elevated the Parish Rector, Hegumen Athanasy (Mastalski), to the rank of archimandrite.
