The All-Diaspora Russian Orthodox Youth Conference in San Francisco

The third day of the Conference began with a divine liturgy at the Cathedral, performed by the recently-ordained Hieromonk Juvenaly, clergyman of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in San Francisco, with singing by the Conferees.

Today, the lectures of E.V. Perekrestova and Priest John McCuen were heard with great interest, along with round-table presentations by Protopriest Maksim Kozlov (ROC/MP) and Protopriest Gabriel Makarov, N. Kotar and T. Igaikon, on the topic of the joys and problems of dating, marriage and family life. All the presentations drew animated discussions, ending at 9:30 pm.

Tomorrow, at the Russian Scout House, across the street from the Cathedral, Protopriest Maksim Kozlov will deliver a lecture entitled ÒTime to Come Out from the Underground—to be Orthodox in Russia Today.Ó
