Bishop Peter and the Clergymen of St Sergius Cathedral in Cleveland Congratulate Bishop Daniel of Erie

On December 39, the feast day of Holy Prophet Daniel, His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Vicar Bishop of the Chicago and Detroit Diocese, along with the clergymen of St Sergius Cathedral of Cleveland, visited His Grace Bishop Daniel of Erie, Vicar Bishop of the Old Believers of the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. A moleben was performed on this day in the Old Believers' rite, followed by a trapeza at which His Grace Bishop Daniel was congratulated on his namesday. After the trapeza, Bishop Daniel invited Bishop Peter, Protopriest Peter Burlakov and Protopriest Pimen Simon, who had done a great deal of work in organizing the celebration; as well as Priest Victor Boldewskul and others to his residence. During this gathering, His Grace Bishop Daniel was called on the telephone by His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, who congratulated him on behalf of the bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. In bidding farewell to his guests, Bishop Daniel expressed his joy at their common church prayers and gathering.
