On Sunday, September 19, the eve of the holiday of the Nativity of the Most-Holy Mother of God, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, officiated at divine liturgy at the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the state capital. The Rector of this churchhas for many years been Protopriest Vsevolod Drobot, whose pastoral work has always been highly regarded by His Eminence, for which he granted Fr Vsevolod a mitre during the minor entrance. At the conclusion of liturgy, the clergy and worshipers proceeded to the site of the new church for the consecration of the foundation, after which the active and labor-loving Sisterhood prepared a trapeza at the church hall. The following are photographs of the event taken by the cell-attendant of His Eminence, Nicholas Olhovsky.
